Tara Yarbrough

What she does

Everything. From managing the office finances in tip-top shape, to keeping bigInkers and the Yarbrough triplets in line, Tara is a true jane of all trades. She’s working on a garden to provide Dallas’ top chefs and restaurateurs with their pick of seasonal fruits and vegetables and fresh herbs straight from the Y5 Farm (yes, the Yarbrough clan has moved to Waxahachie.)

Where she came from

A Texas girl at heart, Tara grew up in the city and just found a beautiful farm to call home after living in Lake Highlands for seven years. Don’t worry, she still makes trips to “the big city” regularly, and the triplets love the open space, farm animals, and Farmer Jeffrey. Tara is no stranger to the restaurant industry either, her father Jack co-founded Chili’s in 1975.

A day in her shoes

Tara fills her days chasing chickens and feeding cows. When she’s not busy with farm activities she handles bigInk’s finances.

What she likes

Mason, Jackson & Garrett, Sunday’s spent at Fellowship Church and Jeffrey on most days.

Favorite meal in her lifetime

Seafood pasta in Cremona, Italy.
